Noise Salon returns with an evening where artistic and technical disciplines combine for three new works that explore the duality of stability and instability:

“Noise on the runway” (Dirty Laundry Remix)

Noise and distortion based sound art considers musique concrète, improvisation and remix, while runway models respond in transmedia dialogue inspired by a Boston Fashion Week designer.

“Surfing the waves of mood”

A performer’s movements will be influenced by a mathematical model of bipolarity and by communal drumming to express radical self- acceptance of fluctuations in mood.

“Different senses of dis/harmony...”

Dancers and musicians will explore identity and hidden layers through a transmedia performance inspired by the “myriad of things” from the Tao Te Ching.

The night closes with a post-show artist conversation — your chance to meet the creators
